TurfDial (turfdial.com) is committed to being transparent about how the site works and what data it collects. This policy covers what we collect, how it's used, and your choices.
What we collect
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and how users navigate between tools. These services collect usage data including IP address (anonymized), browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. They set cookies and use similar tracking technologies.
The tools themselves
The TurfDial calculators are stateless. They do not create accounts, and they do not store, log, or transmit the values you enter. All calculation happens in your browser. When you close the page, the inputs are gone.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser. TurfDial uses two categories of cookies:
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to measure site usage. These cookies collect aggregated, anonymized information about how visitors interact with the site and do not identify individual users.
- Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense and its advertising partners to serve relevant ads. These cookies may track your browsing activity across sites to personalize the ads you see.
Google AdSense and advertising
TurfDial uses Google AdSense and other third-party vendors to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to TurfDial or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this and/or other sites.

EEA and UK visitors

Third-party links
TurfDial links to external sources — extension publications, university research, and other references — for source citations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.
